What Was Hiding in This Ceiling? Pulling Down Wet Drywall
Quality 1st Restoration removes water-damaged ceiling drywall in Las Vegas homes.
This clip comes from a real job in The Lakes, on the west side of Las Vegas. From below, the upstairs ceiling only showed a stain and a crack. One pull brought the drywall down, with wet insulation sitting right on top of it.
Soaked ceiling drywall gets heavy and sags, and wet paper facing is a place mold can start. So the wet sections come out, and the wood above is dried until the moisture meter shows it's back to normal.

You won't believe what was hiding in this ceiling.
Okay. Here we go.
Oh, wow. Look up here.
That's soaked drywall, with wet insulation packed right on top of it.
Drywall soaks up water like a sponge. It gets heavy, it sags, and the paper face is food for mold.
So it all comes out, and the wood above gets dried until the meter reads dry.
Yeah. That one wasn't staying.
The footage is from a real Quality 1st job. The voiceover is narrated.
