The Back Side of a Water-Damaged Ceiling
Quality 1st Restoration removes wet, stained ceiling drywall in Las Vegas before mold spreads.
From the room below, this ceiling showed a few stains. The back of the drywall, once it came down, looked very different. This footage is from the same job in The Lakes.
Wet drywall can start growing mold in as little as a day or two, which is why the wet sections come out instead of being painted over. The pieces get bagged inside the plastic containment so dust and debris don't travel through the rest of the house.

Check this out. This is the back of the ceiling we just pulled down.
From the room below, it was just a few stains.
Back here? Look at all that.
That dark spotting is what drywall turns into when it stays wet.
Mold can start in as little as a day or two.
So the wet sections come out, and get bagged inside the plastic, so nothing spreads through the house.
Always look behind the stain.
The footage is from a real Quality 1st job. The voiceover is narrated.
