Water Damage: Save It or Tear It Out?
Quality 1st Restoration decides which water-damaged materials to save or remove in Las Vegas homes.
Not everything that gets wet has to be replaced. Soaked insulation doesn't dry well and usually comes out. Soaked drywall gets cut out past the wet line.
Wood framing can usually be dried in place, and cabinets can often be protected and dried instead of torn out. Moisture readings decide which way each material goes.
