Upholstery Cleaning in Henderson, NV
Upholstery cleaning means getting smoke, odor, soot and water stains out of your couches and chairs without ruining the fabric. We figure out what's on the piece and what it's made of, test a hidden spot, and clean it with the method that fabric can handle. If something can't be saved, we tell you before you pay to clean it.
We clean furniture across Henderson and Las Vegas after a small kitchen fire, smoke that drifted in from a neighbor's fire, or a leak that soaked the bottom of a sofa. We also clean furniture after construction dust has settled on everything.

Before you decide to keep or toss it
These are the questions people ask when they're looking at a couch and deciding whether it's worth cleaning.
Can this couch actually be saved?
Often, but not always. Light smoke odor, a film of soot, dust from a rebuild or a spill of clean water usually cleans out. A cushion that sat in sewage or dirty floodwater doesn't, because it went into the foam and the frame. We'll tell you which one you have before you pay for anything.
The smoke smell is in the furniture. Will cleaning get it out?
Cleaning the fabric gets most of it. Smoke odor also sits in the cushion foam and the padding under the fabric, so with heavier smoke, we pair the cleaning with odor treatment. If the rest of the room still smells, the couch will pick it back up. We look at the room too.
A pipe leaked and the bottom of the sofa got wet. Is it ruined?
If it was clean water and you caught it within a day or two, it's usually fine once it's dried and cleaned. Watch for water stains wicking up the fabric and for the wood legs or base swelling. A musty smell usually means it stayed wet too long.
Will cleaning shrink or bleed the fabric?
It can if the method's wrong. Some fabrics, like many natural fibers and velvets, don't tolerate water well. We check the care tag and test a hidden spot first. If a piece can only be dry-cleaned, we say so and clean it that way.
Do you clean leather?
Yes, with cleaners made for leather and a conditioner afterward. Leather that's been soaked or cracked by heat is harder to bring back, and we'll be honest if it's past that point.
How much does it cost? Will insurance pay?
Cleaning is priced on site by the size of the area, the material and what's on it. Soot on hardwood is a different job from dust after construction.
For furniture, the count and the fabric matter most. A few synthetic chairs with dust on them are quick. A large sectional in a delicate fabric with smoke in the cushions needs a gentler method, more passes and odor treatment. That takes longer.

How we clean upholstery
- 1
Look at the piece and the tag
Fabric type, the cleaning code on the tag, what got on it and how long ago. That tells us which method is safe.
- 2
Test somewhere hidden
We try the cleaner on the back or under a cushion and wait to see if the color moves or the texture changes.
- 3
Dry soil off first
A HEPA vacuum pulls loose soot and dust out of the weave before anything wet touches it. Rubbing soot while it's damp can push it deeper.
- 4
Clean with the right method
Low-moisture cleaning for delicate fabrics, extraction for synthetics that can take it, leather products for leather. Odor treatment gets added if the piece was in smoke.
- 5
Dry it fast
We move air across the piece and run a dehumidifier in the room when it's needed. Upholstery that stays damp can turn musty and undo the cleaning.
What cleans one fabric can stain the next.
Two couches that look the same can react completely differently to the same cleaner. One comes out fine. The other shows water rings, dye bleeding into the piping, or a crushed nap that never stands back up.
So we test on the back of the piece or under a cushion first and give it a few minutes. It's a small step, and it's the one that keeps a cleaning job from turning into a replacement.
What's included
What we do with upholstered furniture, and what goes to someone else.
What we do
- Looking at each piece and telling you if it's worth cleaning
- Spot testing before cleaning
- HEPA vacuuming to lift soot and dust
- Cleaning fabric and leather with methods suited to each
- Odor treatment for smoke-affected pieces
- Drying with airflow before we leave
- An itemized list with photos if it's part of a claim
What we don't do
- Reupholstering, re-stuffing or repairing frames. That's an upholsterer.
- Cleaning furniture that soaked up sewage or dirty floodwater. That gets thrown out.
- Antique or high-value pieces that need a specialist. We'll say so if we think yours does.
Upholstery cleaning questions
How much does upholstery cleaning cost?
We price it after we see the pieces, and the estimate is free. What changes the price is how many pieces there are, the fabric, and what's on them. A sectional with smoke odor takes longer than a chair with a dusty cushion.
Does insurance cover cleaning furniture after a fire or leak?
When it's part of a covered fire, smoke or water loss, cleaning the furniture is often part of the claim. Your carrier decides. We list every piece, photograph it and note whether it was cleaned or couldn't be saved.
How long does upholstery take to dry after cleaning?
It depends on the fabric and how much moisture the method used. Low-moisture cleaning dries faster. We set up airflow before we leave so it isn't sitting damp overnight.
Can upholstery cleaning remove smoke smell from a couch?
It usually removes most of it. The rest is in the foam, so heavier smoke gets odor treatment too. If the smell is still in the walls and air of the room, deal with that at the same time or it comes back.
Should I throw out furniture that got wet in a sewage backup?
Upholstered furniture that soaked up sewage should be thrown out. The padding and frame hold onto the contamination, and cleaning the fabric doesn't reach it. Photograph it for your claim before it goes.

Clear work, clean documentation, no mystery in the middle.
For Upholstery Cleaning, you should be able to see what we found and what we did about it. That's what the paperwork is for.
When we leave, you should have a plain explanation of the work and paperwork that still makes sense weeks later if an adjuster asks.
Certified standards
IICRC-certified technicians work to the published industry standards instead of judging the job by how it looks.
Claim-ready documentation
Photos and scope notes are collected as the work moves, so you and your adjuster can see what changed and why.
Right method for the surface
Hardwood, grout, fabric and stone each take a different cleaner and a different amount of water. We match the method before we start.
One accountable plan
The emergency work and the rebuild stay under one plan, so nothing falls into the gap between two contractors.
Local loss experience
We clean across Henderson and the Las Vegas Valley, often right after a water, fire or construction job.
What we tell you before work expands
What needs action now
What needs attention today and what can wait. If part of it belongs to a plumber or roofer, we say so.
What should stay closed
We don't open finished walls or ceilings until the readings and the access tell us it's worth it.
What happens next
Stabilize first. Repair decisions come after the building is under control.
