Quality 1st Restoration home

Specialty Cleaning Services in Henderson, NV

Specialty cleaning is the cleaning an ordinary cleaning company won't take on: soot and smoke film after a fire, residue after a water or sewage loss, contamination, and the fine dust a rebuild leaves behind. Our restoration crews do it with methods matched to each surface, so the cleaning doesn't damage what it's cleaning.

We work in homes, rentals and businesses around Henderson and Las Vegas. Hard water is part of life here, so we also see mineral buildup on tile and glass that regular cleaning can't lift.

What people want to know first

Often the call comes after someone already tried to clean it and it didn't come off.

My house cleaner won't touch this. Who does?

We do. Soot, sewage residue, drywall dust from a rebuild and anything that might be contaminated are outside what a maid service is set up for. Our restoration crews use protective gear and products chosen for the surface.

Is it cleaning or is it damage?

From the doorway, it isn't always obvious. A gray film on the walls might wipe off. It might also mean smoke got into the paint. We look first and tell you which one you're dealing with. If it's cleaning, we clean it. If something needs to be replaced, we say so before you pay for cleaning that won't work.

Will regular cleaning products make it worse?

They can. A wet rag can push soot deeper into flat paint. Acidic cleaners can etch natural stone. Too much water can cup a hardwood floor. Most of the work is matching the method to the material, so we don't create a new problem while fixing the old one.

Can you clean the furniture and floors too, or only walls?

Floors and furniture too, along with most hard surfaces in the house. That includes upholstery, tile and grout, hardwood, cabinets and fixtures. For businesses and rentals, we also do full deep cleans after damage or construction.

We already have a restoration company on the fire or water job. Do we need you?

Probably not for the same rooms. Cleaning is normally part of a restoration job, and if we're the ones drying or rebuilding, it's already in our scope. People call us for cleaning on its own when a small loss didn't need a full restoration job, or when the rebuild is done and the dust is everywhere.

How much does it cost? Will insurance pay?

Cleaning is priced on site by the size of the area, the material and what's on it. Soot on hardwood is a different job from dust after construction.

What moves the price most is what's on the surface and what the surface is made of. Dust after a rebuild comes off quickly. Soot on textured ceilings, or residue soaked into grout and upholstery, takes slower methods and more passes.

The cleaning we do

Each of these has its own page with what goes wrong and how we handle it.

How a specialty cleaning job runs

  1. 1

    Look at it with you

We walk through the affected rooms and figure out what the residue is and what it's sitting on. Soot, sewage film and construction dust don't get handled the same way.

  2. 2

    Test a small spot

Before we clean a whole wall, couch or floor, we test the method somewhere you won't see. If it dulls a finish or moves a dye, we switch methods before it matters.

  3. 3

Protect the rest of the house

We use plastic on floors and doorways, plus air scrubbers when dust or odor is part of the job, so the clean rooms stay clean.

  4. 4

    Clean surface by surface

Dry methods come first where they work, including HEPA vacuums and dry sponges for soot. Wet cleaning only happens where the surface can take it, and only as wet as it needs to be.

  5. 5

    Check it with you

We walk it again with you in good light. Anything that didn't come clean gets another pass, or we tell you plainly that it needs replacing.

A stronger cleaner is usually the wrong answer.

When something won't come clean, the instinct is to grab something harsher. On soot, that can set the stain. On stone, it can etch the surface. On a finished floor, it can cloud the coat.

We start by figuring out what the residue is and what it's sitting on. The method comes from that, and it's often gentler than you'd expect.

What's included

What specialty cleaning covers here, and what it doesn't.

What we do

  • A walk-through and free estimate
  • Spot tests before cleaning any finish or fabric
  • Floor and doorway protection, plus air scrubbers when needed
  • Cleaning walls, ceilings, floors, cabinets, fixtures and furniture
  • Photos and a room-by-room list if it's part of a claim

What we don't do

  • Weekly, move-in or move-out house cleaning.
  • Refinishing hardwood or reupholstering furniture. We can tell you when it needs that.
  • Cleaning things that have to be thrown out, like a mattress that soaked up sewage.

Specialty cleaning questions

What are specialty cleaning services?

Specialty cleaning is cleaning that needs more than a regular house cleaner: residue after water, fire, smoke or contamination, plus deep cleaning after a rebuild. Restoration crews choose the method based on the material being cleaned.

How much do specialty cleaning services cost?

It's priced after we see the job, and the estimate is free. The size of the area, what's on the surfaces and what the surfaces are made of all affect the price. Light smoke film in a few rooms is a very different job from sewage residue on tile.

Will insurance pay for cleaning after a fire or water loss?

If the cleaning is part of a covered loss, it's often included in the claim. Your carrier decides. We photograph the before and after and write down what was cleaned, room by room.

Do you do regular house cleaning?

No. We don't do weekly or move-out cleaning. Our cleaning work is tied to damage, contamination or construction.

Clear work, clean documentation, no mystery in the middle.

For Specialty Cleaning Services, you should be able to see what we found and what we did about it. That's what the paperwork is for.

When we leave, you should have a plain explanation of the work and paperwork that still makes sense weeks later if an adjuster asks.

Certified standards

IICRC-certified technicians work to the published industry standards instead of judging the job by how it looks.

Claim-ready documentation

Photos and scope notes are collected as the work moves, so you and your adjuster can see what changed and why.

Right method for the surface

Hardwood, grout, fabric and stone each take a different cleaner and a different amount of water. We match the method before we start.

One accountable plan

The emergency work and the rebuild stay under one plan, so nothing falls into the gap between two contractors.

Local loss experience

We clean across Henderson and the Las Vegas Valley, often right after a water, fire or construction job.

What we tell you before work expands

What needs action now

What needs attention today and what can wait. If part of it belongs to a plumber or roofer, we say so.

What should stay closed

We don't open finished walls or ceilings until the readings and the access tell us it's worth it.

What happens next

Stabilize first. Repair decisions come after the building is under control.
