Whole-house wall and floor rebuild in Centennial Hills
We were called in to rebuild a single-story Centennial Hills house where the flooring was down to the slab and the lower walls were open in the bedrooms, hallway and baths.
We measured the walls and openings with a laser distance measure before starting. Containment went up before the tear-out, in case there was mold behind the drywall, and the kitchen countertops and base cabinets along the sink wall came out along with the lower walls. New drywall then went back along the bottom of the walls with corner bead at the outside corners.

Where this job was
This Centennial Hills home is close to Buffalo Drive and John Herbert Drive, about half a mile from Sunny Springs Park. Both the 215 Beltway and US 95 are roughly half a mile away, so the house is easy to reach from most of the valley.
What we did
- 1 Measured the walls and openings with a laser distance measure.
- 2 Set up plastic containment with zipper doors before any flooring or drywall came out, in case there was mold behind the walls.
- 3 Pulled the flooring down to the bare concrete slab through the house.
- 4 Cut out the lower drywall in the bedrooms, hallway and baths and removed the kitchen countertops and base cabinets along the sink wall.
- 5 Hung new drywall along the bottom of the walls with corner bead at the outside corners.
