Bathroom, hallway and bedroom water damage in Centennial Hills
We got called out for water that spread from a bathroom into the hallway and a bedroom in a Centennial Hills home.
The thermal scan of the hallway walls and baseboards traced how far the water had gone, and in the bedroom the laminate and underlayment were wet. Containment went up before tear-out, in case there was mold behind the walls, then the lower drywall came out in the bedroom and behind the bathroom vanity. Drying ran in all three spaces.

Where this job was
The house is between Ann Road and Tropical Parkway, about half a mile from Raptor Play Park. US 95 is about half a mile away and the 215 Beltway is around a mile, so the home sits close to both freeways.
What we did
- 1 Scanned the hallway walls and baseboards with a thermal moisture meter.
- 2 Set up plastic containment with zipper doors before any flooring or drywall came out, in case mold was behind the walls.
- 3 Pulled up the wet laminate planks and underlayment in the bedroom.
- 4 Cut the lower drywall out in the bedroom and behind the bathroom vanity, exposing the slab along the walls.
- 5 Set air movers in the bathroom, hallway and bedroom to swirl air around each room, with dehumidifiers in the middle and an air scrubber filtering dust and airborne particles like mold spores.
