We got called out for water under the kitchen sink in a Roma Hills home in MacDonald Ranch, with wet drywall and insulation behind the sink base.
Emptying the sink base and the cabinet next to it let us check the floor and back wall, and the drywall and insulation behind the sink base were wet. The kitchen cabinet area was taped off in plastic before the wall was cut, in case there was mold behind it. For the pack-out, boxes were staged at the entry and each room was labeled so contents go back where they belong.

What we did
- 1 Emptied the sink base and the cabinet next to it so the floor and back wall could be checked.
- 2 Brought in moving boxes and labeled the rooms for the contents pack-out.
- 3 Hung plastic containment with tape around the kitchen cabinet area, in case mold was behind the wall.
- 4 Cut out the wet drywall and insulation behind the sink base.
