Desert Shores, Las Vegas · Water Leak Behind Shower Wall

Shower wall tear-out and bathroom rebuild in Desert Shores

We got called out for wet shower walls in a Desert Shores bathroom, with readings around the valve and the window.

Once the tile and backer board came off, the insulation behind the shower walls was wet, and the pan came out so the floor under it could be opened to the subfloor. We sealed the bathroom in plastic before demo, in case there was mold in the wall. The rebuild went from cement board and a new pan to new tile, plank flooring, baseboard and a double vanity.
